The LSN offers mutually beneficial research partnerships with a variety of industry and healthcare professionals. Once interests have been defined appropriate academic expertise is found and the opportunity for collaboration is discussed between academic and enterprise personnel. As partnerships are initiated contracts covering areas such as intellectual property and confidentiality are negotiated to support the needs of all parties involved.
