The LSN has a range of specialist facilities available for use by third parties.

Brunel Institute for Bioengineering (BIB): BIB is a multidisciplinary innovative research organisation that works at the interface of medicine, biology and engineering. BIB includes expertise and facilities in the fields of bioprocessing, medical engineering, rehabilitation engineering and space science.
Bioprocessing is just one of the research areas where a number of new techniques and applications are being transferred to industry. BIB is home to the ‘Advanced Bioprocessing Centre’, a laboratory that utilises and develops the most advanced purification and separation processes essential in the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical products.
